The Gilded Gaze: Gold Leaf & the Element of Seduction

In my figurative scenes, the addition of gold in symbolic guises imbues the ordinary with mythic suggestion. In its glint is a curious seduction, alluring the viewer, holding their gaze, and reflecting it to the body of each composition.
